A few family tidbits are in order. My bro has been laid off from work for several weeks. Not to worry, he has been receiving unemployment compensation. My sister-in-law purchased a "pre-owned" automobile for the nephew. It's actually a pretty nice vehicle. And, the nephew recently spent a week in Japan with his buddies.

Reducing my Net "footprint" has remained a top priority. E-mail has been the first successful conquest. I am also reducing my on-line time, which really only leaves the "blog" as the remaining obstacle. Ultimately, the fate of the "blog" will be tethered to the homeless decision.

My day-to-day experiences in the midst of "civilization" are becoming extremely taxing. My observations indicate a steady, albeit exponential, disintegration of the "fabric of society." In other words, things are getting bad. Real bad. The stupidity and ignorance factor is "over the top." Aggressive and confrontational behavior have become commonplace. Etiquette is non-existent. Essentially, we're primed for a global thermonuclear war.
