The heatwave continues unabated. According to reputable weather forecasts, the heatwave will continue for at least another week with temperatures soaring even higher. And, no telling when the trade winds will resume. Needless to say, sleep has been elusive.

The search for a homeless motorhome (read: beat-up minivans) has been aided by the print edition of the Street Pulse tabloid. There are a few cheap, albeit old, minivans listed for sale. Naturally, I am concerned about the integrity and reliability of the vehicles. However, there is some comfort in knowing that a homeless motorhome can be procured fairly quickly.

Incidentally, the homeless situation on the island is totally out of control. I cannot even begin to describe the rampant stupidity involved in the so-called "solutions" that have been proposed recently. Add in the illegal migration and the stupidity approaches epic proportions. Martial law will probably be invoked soon.

I keep refilling monthly service for the command center of doom (read: cheap "smartphone") even though I use little of the allocations. At $35 per month, the expense adds up. The device is also a real "piece of shit."

I was tempted to replace the command center of doom with another small tablet computer, albeit a cheap one with a different operating system. Alas, that's just not feasible. Even a small tablet computer is too large for my purposes. Sheesh!
