The heatwave continues, now dragging on for over two months. The tropical storm due last weekend was a "no show." Just higher temperatures and more humidity ensued. Another tropical storm has been forecasted to arrive in a couple of days. Of course, heatwave equals hotties.

The latest scientific research indicated that there's little doubt about the inevitable end of the universe. I have discussed the scenario previously in the "blog." The universe, because of its accelerating expansion, will eventually suffer from "heat death." All of the finite energy of the universe would be diffused by increasing volume and distance. Eventually the temperature of the entire universe will fall to absolute zero.

Even with such knowledge readily at hand, humans continue to cling to ridiculous beliefs. Hence, the myriad problems facing humanity today. The sheer absurdity is beyond tolerable.

I have commenced the partial decommissioning of the cheap "smartphone." I have scavenged the memory card and installed it in the new "smartphone." Later, I will reset the device to remove all personal account information. It will then continue on as a generic tablet computer.
